HINDU TATTOO, Photos and Installations by Matt Feder & Sarah Murphy

Hindu Tattoo is the result of an epic four month journey through incredible India. A visual documentation of its rough and often D.I.Y approach to tattooing. Hindu Tattoo displays images of pilgrims tattoos and their tattooers at work. Taken alongside the sacred Ganges river, and through the hectic streets and bazaars of India.

Indian street tattooing is raw. It has an oldschool element and feel, where the divine meaning and devotional aspect of the tattoo are more important than the aesthetics of the design itself.

Explore and experience the taste of India’s Tattooing culture and traditions.
